First off I will start by apologizing for not keeping you properly posted about the progress of arranging our clan match. That was no doubt a mistake from our end and I don't blame you for being curious about the date, especially when taking into account that it's been more than two months since you originally proposed a match on our clan forum.

Before the clan match against MK on 30th of August we hadn't had any clan activity in any form since 2012 and many new faces were introduced into the clan between then and now. Like mentioned by krystianoo on his post above, you guys are undeniably in the top of VC:MP at this moment and we simply wanted to see if we can pull the first match off as a clan before even thinking of accepting your proposal. This is the reason we did not play you earlier - or even suggest an approximate date. We had mutually agreed to save you for the last. Considering your reputation, kind of like an ultimate boss. After our match against VU, two of our active members informed they will not be giving VC:MP their full focus because of on-going studies and that we should not expect them to participate in future clan activities. The fact that we actually managed to come up with a suitable date to play against SS was more or less because of fluke.

I do - unfortunately - have to agree that all this has brought a black cloud of disgrace upon on our clan, which I never wanted to happen. I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself and I've always intended on keeping our clan stainless the best I can but sadly not everything is under my control even if I wanted so. Regarding this I would like to state that personal opinions given out by our individual members are theirs, and theirs only. They are not supported by our clan as a whole unless stated otherwise, hence should they not be allowed to mistakenly reflect on this matter in any way.

Now to the actual matter at hand.

Despite the fact that we have failed to come up with a date so far, we do intend to play you. We have all along, like I mentioned earlier in this post. We are not postponing this match on purpose, waiting for the tides to turn somehow to gain even the slightest advantage.

Let me clarify something. The reason we are having hard time to agree on a date is very, very simple; We currently have 25 members, out of which only 2-4 can be considered active. This should not come as a surprise to anyone. Right now we're nowhere near to an active clan, a clan capable enough to arrange any kind of sessions in order to train. We're more like a retirement home. To tell you the truth, I've acknowledged the fact that by playing you it's likely that we'll be marching to a certain defeat. Despite that, I'm not satisfied with the idea of playing you 3v5 or so, and I have a feeling you wouldn't either. I don't think it would serve either party in terms of competitive playing.

As an only 'active' administrator of DnA I am ultimately in charge of everything that happens inside of the clan. At this very moment, I cannot give my full commitment to VC:MP because I am way too busy dealing with responsibilities and tasks of my own in real life which have got my absolute attention. I am inactive and it's partially the reason we've been getting nowhere with this match.

Just to confirm this, are you officially withdrawing your challenge? If so, I must say it's a relief in a way because I honestly couldn't have told you we'll be playing soon, while actually having no certainty about the future events. Either way, I must admit that you've already won this one 8-0, morally at least.

Finally I want to say that even though I am inactive, I do view IRC and our clan forum for messages daily and I request you to directly contact me in the future.

I cannot put words on anyone's mouth but I will apologize on behalf of DnA for any offensive toned comments which may have originated as a result of this little dilemma on either here on the forums or in IRC.

I had no idea people were seriously looking forward to see DnA versus WK so badly. To those whose time we've wasted, I send my apologies.

On a bit darker note; it's unfortunate this turned out as such a fuzz, which I never imagined it would. I urge you all to remember that in the end of the day we're dealing with a video-game and it's little community. If for some they actually hold higher priority than real life matters, I consider that highly alarming.
